ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Lucia
WHERE I COME FROM
I am a proud daughter of Italian immigrants. The focus on faith and family, growing up in a large Italian family, instilled in me strong family values, dedicated worth ethic, and commitment to my Catholic faith. My husband, Rob, an Officer in the US Army JAG Corps, and I have been married for 12 years and are raising our daughter Gaia in Shelby Township. We are active members of the St. Lawrence Catholic Parish.
A THRIVING CAREER
I have served on the Shelby Township Board of Trustees since 2020, and I have been proud of the work that I and my colleagues on the Board have accomplished. I have published a post that specifically highlights time on the Board here.

Since 2022, I am the Managing Attorney for Estate Planning Legal Services in Troy, Michigan. We work with clients to create custom estate plans that best fit the needs of the client, their spouse, and their family. From the 2020 election to 2022, I worked in the District Office of my Congressional Representative, Congresswoman Lisa McClain. Working for the Congresswoman while also maintaining my seat as Shelby Township Trustee enabled me to create government synergies and opportunities in both roles. Prior to joining Team McClain, I ran a successful local boutique legal practice, specializing in real estate and business law.
My first exposure to supporting the Shelby Township community was as a Commissioner on the Shelby Township Planning Commission, a role that I held from my appointment in 2013 until I was sworn in as Trustee in 2020.

My roles within Shelby Township government, my private practice experience, working for Congress, and relying on my faith and family give me a unique advantage when representing the citizens of Shelby Township on all matters that come before the Board of Trustees. It is my pledge to keep making Shelby Township the best place to live, work, and play!
